The Legend of the Legendary Heroes: Now That is a Weird Title

The Facts are These:

Ryner Lute was born with a special ability that allows him to copy any kind of magic he sees. He is on an adventure with a swords woman named Eris. Under orders of the king he is travelling the world searching for the relics of the “Legendary Heroes.”

The Legend of the Legendary Heroes is an interesting series. The shows main protagonist Ryner Lute is different from the ordinary extremely powerful hero. Instead he is a slacker, but has reasons for why he lives the way he lives. To the point where he preferred to be locked away in jail than to hurt someone by accident. The series is fantasy all the way through and it is fun. The story is good the characters are fun and overall you want more after the series is over.

Behind the Scenes:

The series is based off the light novel series of the same name by Takaya Kagami. His other works include A Dark Rabbit has Seven Lives, Owari no Seraph and Apocalypse Alice. The series is directed by Itsuro Kawasaki, his other works include Arc the Lad, Rental Magica and Chrome Shelled Regios. The series was produced by studio Zexcs and licensed in North America by Funimation.

The openings for this series is “Lament: Joy Soon” performed by Aira Yuhki and…

“Last Inferno” performed by Ceui. Here they are for you to enjoy…

A Brief View of the World:

The series takes place on the continent of Menoris, mainly in the countries of Roland, Nelpha, Runa, and Estabul. The series is a fantasy show that has a large focus on magic and the history of the world they live in. In the show the heroes look for artifacts known as Rule Fragments or Hero Relics. Items that possess great power, examples of this power would be summoning dragons or or freezing anything it comes into contact with. In the world certain people are born with abilities called stigmas, each stigma gives the wearer a different ability the most common stigma is the Alpha Stigma.

This series is enjoyable with a great story and cast. Though the show feels unfinished, with a vague conclusion making you want to know what happens next. That is a shame because I enjoyed the show, but it is hard to recommend.

The series is rewatchable with 26 episodes, though there is no real reason to watch the show a second time with there being no second season in sight.

Berserk – For a great fantasy series that I just interesting to watch.

Kingdom – I just like to recommend this series, not for the visuals… Definitely not the visuals but the great characters and story.

I do not own any of the above used pictures and/or video they belong to their original creators, Takaya Kagami, Funimation and Zexcs.
