Discoveries:

This show is fantastic and keeps you entertained till the end. This show feels like a mix of old anime and new anime. The corny nature of the show, with the seriousness of modern anime. This is an extremely enjoyable anime that I gave a chance to on a whim and I was expectable and extremely pleased. The characters are interesting and the scenario of the show talks about issues of dictatorships and oppression. It is a fun and compelling anime that I was pleasantly surprised. The ending was interesting, though I had some suspicion about what was going to happen.

The creation of the greatest heroes the world will never know.

Behind the Scenes:

This show is based off the 1977 Time Bokan: Yatterman series, that was remade in 2006. Yatterman was created by Hiroshi Sasagawa, with his other works including Speed Racer and Voltron Lion Force, with this series being made to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Yatterman. the series was directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara, with his other works including Arve Rezzle and Namiuchigiwa no Muromi-san. The series was written by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, with his other works including Wooser no Sono Higurashi and Tantei Opera Milky Holmes. The series was produced by studio Tatsunoko Productions and was licensed in North America by Funimation.

The opening song is “Kyokugen Dreamer” by Screen Mode. This looks visually awesome, and more like an animated music video than an opening animation. Here it is for you to enjoy…

A Brief View of the World:

The world of Yoru no Yatterman is a deteriorated world that is run by the once hero and now dictator Yatterman. The series looks great and shows the world the consequences of someone’s actions or how hope can affect people.

This was a great episode and really fleshed out the characters and the world around them.

It was a little slow in the middle, and the animation was not really consistent at certain moments, but I enjoyed the series from beginning to end.
